Fireman's Axe New York Pattern

                New but SHOP SOILED firefighters axe New York pattern.  Condition new as from factory, however it has some scratches on paintwork apoun the head due to not having any packaging and marks on the handle some I have sanded away I consider it as shop soiled but it is definately a new unused item.    Handle Hickory wood with reinforced shaft near head.  Length 91 cm , length of head 34 cm.  Cutting edge 11 cm wide.  Length of pick point 13 cm , thickness of handle 4.5 cm x 3 cm.  Method of fastening head to shaft wedges.  Strong heavy axe 3 kilos weight.  Can be be used for other purposes as well like stump and root grubbing  ( for cutting through roots ) in the purpose of digging out stumps.and demolishing work.  Otherwise an excellent collectable axe as well.
