Aloe arborescens/ Succulent/cacti
From the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa this is a medium sized Aloe suitable for rockeries or large containers. Branched spikes of scarlet red flowers appear from late winter to early spring. Potting or garden mix should be light and well drained, with some extra gravel for drainage, gravel mulch is suitable. This plant should be watered sparingly in summer and hardly at all in winter. Seaweed or fish fertiliser is suitable along with a slow release fertiliser suitable for roses. Propogation is by offset. The plant you receive will be a rooted cutting where available otherwise an unrooted cutting will be supplied.
