Up for auction is a stunning thumbnail sized, pyrope garnet and smoky quartz mineral specimen. The garnets have a deep red-brown colour and are opaque to translucent. They have a dodecahedral shape which can be seen on the faces of the crystals. This piece displays really well and would look fabulous in your collection. You won't be disappointed! The photos don't do it justice.
I am selling this piece because I have a few and want to make some room to collect some new pieces I don't have. The photos were taken with a flash to try and show the detail better. Some were taken with the macro setting to highlight the crystals, so they appear bigger than they really are. More photos available by request.
